"Dedicated to young bilingual-to-be children"

1.2.3. Soleil is a self-subsidised independent part time school for children from the age of 3. We offer a french educational program in a playful environment in la Petite and la Grande Ecole delivered by qualified french native speaking teaching staff.

Our School welcomes all children living in a bilingual family from Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and the surrounding areas, including Maidenhead, Bourne End, Marlow, Cookham, Windsor, Reading, High Wycombe etc.

Our approach: The classes are held solely in french and the children are stimulated to use a range of vocabulary as wide as possible hence developing confidence in their oral expression abilities. During each session our teaching team will explore a cultural theme through structured play and exercises. The number of children per class is limited in order to allow each of them to express themselves in french and create a unique bond with their teachers.

We have developed our own program inspired from the National French Curriculum for Early Years dispensed by the Ministère de l'Education Nationale.

Our objectives:

Through educative and playful activities to enable children
• To extend their linguistic skills (both written and spoken)
• To develop a sense of belonging to a community for french bilingual children and enhance connection to the francophone culture
• To create a meeting point for french speaking families in the area

Every Saturday morning, 10:00 am to 12:00 am (except school holidays)

Please check sessions calendar for the dates when school is open.
